GROUP TERM LIFE INSURANCE:
The District’s group term life coverage is underwritten by Dearborn National Insurance. It is provided in conjunction with its health insurance plan. Life insurance is not available for individual or family purchase. Life insurance is available to eligible employees and coverage varies based on position. Benefit booklets are available by request, please email benefits@joliet86.org for your working group contract.
LONG-TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE:
The District’s group long-term disability (LTD) insurance coverage provides benefits to employees with replacement income if they are unable to work due to illness/injury. Eligibility is based on position. Please contact benefits@joliet86.org for more information.
