Halfway Through the First Trimester

We are halfway through the first trimester of this school year! Time feels like it is flying by as each of our schools continues to provide amazing learning opportunities for every student.
As the seasons begin to change, my hope is that every family will find a way to slow time down a bit and enjoy the learning that is taking place. After school programs such as Camp Fit, Kids N Nature, and Girls on the Run are already in place at several of our schools helping to accommodate the time period between dismissal and time to be home with family. Several athletic programs have students on the move as well.
Picture days, reading and literacy nights, and family focused events are scheduled at school sites across the district. You can access the districtwide calendar (click the word calendar) and then filter the events to list only those for your child's school to see what is scheduled. I hope you will be able to participate in as many of the family events as possible. These are great opportunities for you to engage with your child and your child's teacher.
