Happy New Year - 2021
Jan 05, 2021
Happy New Year! Welcome 2021!
We are all excited to have entered into this new year with the hopes of being able to put away the old year and move forward. There were lots of challenges in 2020. Will 2021 be free of challenges? Probably not, but there is hope on the horizon.
We continue to be in a fully remote setting for school until the beginning of the third trimester (March 2nd). Of course, every decision is subject to change depending on the continued community spread of COVID in our area. We will continue to watch the data while planning for a return to in-person instruction in a hybrid setting.
A hybrid setting will mean students would attend school in-person one or two days a week and continue in remote learning for the remaining days of the week. There would also still be a choice for students to remain fully remote. We will communicate with families and staff as we get closer to the end of February.
I am thankful for each of you every day for all that you are doing to help our students be successful during this crazy time. Remote learning has not been perfect, but there is student learning and growth happening. So, it is working and we will continue to work to improve it as we keep moving forward.
