2024-25 Student Registration is Now Open

I hope everyone enjoyed Spring Break! It was terrific to go out of town for a few days and relax with family and friends. I can't believe it is already April. The end of the school year will be here before we know it!
Students in grades 3 - 8 are doing a great job on their English Language Arts and Mathematics Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) and the Illinois Science Assessments. Results will be sent to the District in late summer. We will send them to families as soon as we are able. In addition, families with children who took the ACCESS English language proficiency tests in February will receive preliminary results in late May so you will know what school your children will attend in the fall.
Speaking of next school year, April is the time to begin registering your children for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Student registration is done online on our website at District 86 Student Registration. Returning families only need to provide one proof of residency! Please log into your Aspen Family Portal Account to begin the process. If you need to reset your password, or if you are new to District 86 and need to set up a new account, visit Family Portal Account Help for assistance.
Please register your children as soon as possible. It is so important for us to have this information as soon as possible so school administrators can prepare the classrooms for the upcoming school year and our transportation department employees can plan the bus routes over the summer.
