Erick Deshaun Dorris will serve as President and Deborah Ziech as Vice President on the Board of School Inspectors. Mr. Dorris has served on the board since 2017. He is an alum of Eisenhower Academy, Washington Junior High, Joliet Central High School, Millikin University and Roosevelt University. He is co-founder of United In Excellence, an education advocacy and community arts program in Joliet and Baltimore, MD. Mr. Dorris also serves as General Manager of the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic.
Deborah Ziech will serve as vice president. Mrs. Ziech has served as a Board of School Inspector since 2003. She is a proud graduate of Taft Elementary, Hufford Junior High, Joliet West High School, and St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing. She is a retired nurse.
