The magnet program at Forest Park Individual Education (I.E.) School and the I.E. program housed at Hufford Junior High are accepting student applications for the 2023-2024 school year.  The schools offer a unique educational program based on Adlerian Individual Psychology.  The schools are founded on Raymond Corsini's 4Rs: Responsibility, Respectfulness, Resourcefulness, and Responsiveness and focus on a balance of academics, social skills, and creativity.

Parents must commit to the magnet school’s philosophy, including signing a parent contract, and attending four parenting sessions during the school year.  Enrollment is open to students residing within the boundaries of Joliet Public Schools District 86.  Interested parents with children in grades K-5 may call (815) 723-0414 or (815) 725-3540 for children in grades 6-8 to inquire about the open enrollment process.  In addition, Hufford Junior High School, 1125 N. Larkin Avenue, is hosting an I.E. Informational Meeting on April 25 at 5 p.m.
