Twenty five 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students were inducted into the Dirksen Junior High Jr. Beta Club. Junior Beta Club members demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and embody the character qualities of honesty, justice, service, cooperation, responsibility, industriousness, humility, and charity.

The officers for the 2018-2019 school year are: Lexi Cerrillo (president), Camila Sandoval (vice president), and Jacqueline Munoz Carranza (secretary). The club is sponsored by Dirksen Junior High School teachers Jean Milam, Julie Stevens, and Vanessa Stokes and administrator Kenny Johnson.
