A.O. Marshall School Gives Back

Blankets

Thank you Joliet City Councilwoman Sherri Reardon for sharing the importance of community service with A.O. Marshall Elementary students. When Mrs. Reardon served as honorary principal at the Joliet District 86 elementary school, she talked to the students about her job with the city council and how everyone, even children, can help others. She brought materials with her to the school and spent the day making fleece blankets with the Marshall fourth and fifth-grade students.  The students and Mrs. Reardon donated fourteen blankets to Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow. The blankets will be given to children who visit the Will County Children’s Advocacy Center.  The students were thrilled that the agency’s comfort and healing dogs Kiwi, Jackson, and Malley visited the school too!
