All Students Must be Registered

All Joliet Public Schools District 86 families who have not completed the online 2020-2021 student registration or students new to District 86 must be registered immediately in order to ensure transportation on the first day of school for those that qualify and accurate class scheduling. Visit https://www.joliet86.org/students-parents/student-registration/ to register. Proof of residency forms can be uploaded online.

Parents/guardians of returning District students must provide proof of residency with one of the following documents: 1) most recent tax bill and proof of payment or 2) mortgage papers or signed/dated lease and proof of last month’s payment. In addition, two documents showing proper address must be presented. These documents may include a driver’s license or state identification card, vehicle registration, voter registration, most recent cable television and/or credit card bill, current homeowners/renters insurance policy, or most recent utility bill.  New students must also provide identification for the parent/guardian, an original or certified copy of the child’s birth certificate, child’s previous school information, and legal custody documents if applicable. 

Physical examination and proof of immunization records are required for students entering Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and sixth grade.  Eye exams are also required for incoming Kindergarteners or students attending District 86 for the first time.  Dental exams are needed for students entering Kindergarten, second, and sixth-grade and proof of TDAP immunization is required for all sixth-grade students.  For more information, please visit www.joliet86.org.
