Physical Education (P.E.) and Health Education

The Joliet Public Schools District 86 Health and Physical Education program strives to educate minds, develop healthy bodies, and promote positive attitudes towards lifetime physical activity, fitness, and sports skills. The program reinforces students' understanding and application of fitness concepts and motor skills through a variety of movement forms. The program also aims to develop students' personal and social responsibility, self-management skills, and ability to make informed choices. The overall goal of this program is to help students make responsible lifestyle choices that directly impact his/her health and well-being.
