The Human Resources Division is responsible for initiating, coordinating, directing, and monitoring personnel services for over 1300 full and part-time employees. We coordinate the recruitment, selection, and employment recommendations for all new personnel. HR maintains all employee records, works to ensure the equitable implementation of Board and Administrative employment polices and Union contracts, and is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal and state employment related laws and regulations. Coordination of all compensation and benefit programs and the administration of workers’ compensation are handled through HR.

The goals of the division are to attract an effective work force to the district, develop employees to their potential, and maintain personnel over the long term.
