The Coordinator for Communications and Development serves as the media spokesperson for the District. In addition to working with the media, the Media Relations Department develops and distributes brochures, newsletters, letters and magazines to school district employees and families. A District Parent Outlook Magazine is sent home with all students three times a year.

The Coordinator for Communications and Development also serves as the school district liaison for the Joliet Grade Schools Foundation for Educational Excellence. For copies of publications or to set up an interview, please call or email Sandra Zalewski at (815) 740-3196.

Many families took advantage of the nice weather and participated in outdoor activities during Joliet’s 8th annual Worldwide Day of Play.
