MATHEMATICS
Joliet Public Schools District 86 provides students with a standards-based math curriculum, grounded in the Standards for Mathematical Practice. The curriculum provides for a high level of conceptual understanding, relying heavily on connecting representations to algorithms. As students work through grade level curriculum, they make connections and extend strategies and practices from year to year.
