Students enrolled at Washington Junior High School will be motivated and challenged to meet high expectations. We are a body of educators, who along with parents, partner together with one common goal of developing life-long learning and productive citizens.

In order to boost academic achievement, a new focus is being placed on Math, Science, and Technology. To meet the needs of our diverse population of over 700 students, teachers and staff will complete intense training based on differentiated instruction and methodology.




Autism Awareness 5K Run/Walk

Joliet Public Schools District 86 will host its second annual Autism Awareness 5K Run/Walk and a Community Family Fair on Saturday, April 22, 2017.

The Board of School Inspectors appointed Erick Deshaun Dorris to fill the vacant school board east side seat.
