Gwendolyn was appointed to the Board of School Inspectors in July 2011. Gwen has one daughter and one son who both graduated from District 86 schools. Gwen attended Eliza Kelly Elementary, Thompson, Elementary, and Washington Junior High before graduating from Joliet Central High School. Gwen retired from Silver Cross Hospital after 44 years.
