Our Joliet District 86 Summer Library Program will be held at Sanchez, Thigpen, and Washington Schools this summer. The libraries will be open Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. until July 16, 2026. 

Joliet District 86 students are welcome to stop by to check out books, pick up Read to Rise prizes, and keep your reading streak going all summer long. Any grade-level appropriate book counts toward the Read to Rise goals, so keep turning those pages while reading what you love! Continue to log books after July 16 using the QR code and prizes will be sent to your home. Basket drawings will be held Monday, August 10, 2026.
