Congratulations to students at Cunningham, Hufford, Pershing, Taft, and Woodland Schools for submitting the winning names for three of the City of Joliet's snowplows. The snowplows made surprise visits to the schools, giving students a chance to see the winning names displayed on the plows.
The winning names were "Snow Buster" submitted from Cunningham's first grade students from Ruben Chavez's classroom, "Plowasaurus Rex" from students in Woodland third-grade teacher Jason Kuefler's classroom, and "Blizzard Wizard" submitted by three District 86 schools: Hufford, Pershing, and Taft. The Student council members from Hufford and Pershing, and fourth grade students from Anne Flaherty, Adyleny Pitoeach, and Caitlin Ratajczak classrooms. The student council teacher sponsors include Ashleigh Bingenheimer from Hufford and xxx and xxx from Pershing.
