Free children breakfasts and lunches are offered at Joliet Junior College, 1215 Houbolt Road, Messiah Lutheran Church, 40 Houbolt Road, and Salvation Army, 303 3rd Avenue, on Mondays through Thursdays during the summer. Breakfasts are available from 7:30-9:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. for students 18-years-old and younger through July 16, 2026.
