Joliet Public Schools District 86 will celebrate Illinois School Board Members Day on November 15, 2025. The day is an opportunity to honor nearly 6,000 elected school board members in Illinois who volunteer their time to provide a local voice for communities, a vision for school districts, and a pathway to success for students throughout the state.

The Joliet Public Schools District 86 Board of School Inspectors include President Jesse Smith, Vice President Matthew Pritz, R. Emil Standfield, Sandra Aguirre, Delia Ulloa-Jimenez, Naurice Moffett, and Deborah Ziech.

"We are so fortunate to have seven such caring and supportive community members serve as our Board of School Inspectors,” said Joliet Public Schools District 86 Superintendent Dr. Theresa Rouse. "They prioritize putting students at the center of every decision they make."

Naurice Moffett, Matthew Pritz, Delia Ulloa-Jimenez, and Deborah Ziech are all Joliet Public Schools District 86 graduates and Sandra Aguirre, Jesse Smith, R. Emil Standfield, and Deborah Ziech have children who are District 86 alumni.
