Athletics

The goal of the Joliet Public Schools District 86 Junior High Athletic Program is to develop character and social responsibility through the participation in sports.  Our coaches and athletic directors strive to provide a positive competitive environment that focuses on the development of the athletes’ skills, academic achievement, character, and self-image.  Requirements of the program include:

  • A mandatory sports physical on file at the school for any student who participates in the athletic program.

  • Eligibility-a student must maintain a C (2.0 GPA) average to participate in the program.

  • Parent attendance at a parent meeting for each sport their child participates in.
