(From left to right) Eighth Grade students Eric Gibbs (Dirksen Junior High), Edwyn Ochoa (Dirksen Junior High) and George Orozco (Hufford Junior High) will participate in the 2018 Illinois Elementary School Association State Wrestling Tournament. Eric placed first and Edwyn and George took third place at the sectionals to qualify to compete at State. The meet will take place at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb on March 9-10. The student athletes are coached by teachers Ryan Gerrity, Dr. Chris Hall, George Hiler, and Jean Mondesir.
