More than 100 families from District 86, Rockdale, St. Jude, and the Will County Health Agencies received bags of groceries for families to make a full course Thanksgiving meal. Items included turkey, potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cranberries, rolls, corn, carrots, apple sauce, pumpkin pie, cookies, and even the roasting pan. Visitation & Aid Society volunteers shopped and filled up grocery carts at the Shorewood Jewel store.
