Students Receive Superintendent Trimester Awards

Congratulations to the Joliet Public Schools District 86 students who received the Superintendent’s Award for second trimester of the 2019-2020 school year. Only one student from each District 86 school was selected by the school for this honor. The award recognizes the outstanding achievements and hard work of students who display characteristics that make them outstanding students and people. Superintendent Dr. Theresa Rouse, along with the school principal, surprised the students with the medal in their classroom.

Cunningham Elementary; Ashley Vera Medina, Dirksen Junior High; Rocco Jones, Eisenhower Academy; Alijah Hughes, Farragut Elementary; Alexander Gutierrez, Forest Park Individual Education School; David Reyes, Gompers Junior High; Ruby Barraza, Hufford Junior High; Mariela Guzman Pantoja, Thomas Jefferson Elementary; Rihanna Bell, Edna Keith Elementary; Maximiliano Rubio, A.O. Marshall Elementary; Isaias Figueroa, Marycrest Early Childhood Center; Charlie Rolff, Pershing Elementary; Aldo Garcia, Sator Sanchez Elementary; Evan Lesa, Carl Sandburg Elementary; Nechelle Morgan, Isaac Singleton Elementary; Kerrigan Simpson, Taft Elementary; Marcos Bedolla, Lynne Thigpen Elementary; Gabriel Estrella, Thompson Instructional Center; Arely Reynoso, Washington Junior High; and Natalya Contreras, Woodland Elementary.
