“Let’s Talk! is an easy way for our parents and the community to engage in a conversation with District administrators,” said Joliet Public Schools District 86 Superintendent Dr. Theresa Rouse. “We want our community to know that we’re listening, and we care about what they have to say.”

Anyone can submit a question, comment, concern, suggestion, or compliment via the Let’s Talk! link 24 hours a day, seven days a week from any computer, tablet, or smartphone. To start a conversation, simply click on the Let’s Talk! link located on the Joliet Public Schools District 86 website (www.joliet86.org) and select a topic. A Let’s Talk! app is also available for iOS and Android devices. After downloading the Let’s Talk! app, users can enter the District’s ID number (JP1552) to access the Joliet Public Schools District 86 Let’s Talk! page.

People may enter their contact information with their submissions, keep the contact information hidden from the school district, or comments may also be left anonymous. If the information is anonymous, a follow-up email response is not able to be sent.

“The goal of Let’s Talk! is to help build stronger community relationships, identify opportunities for engagement, and spot potential crises before they occur,” Dr. Theresa Rouse added. “It facilitates an open dialogue between District leaders and the community and offers unique features that help us improve our customer service.”
