Dirksen Administrator Earns Doctorate Degree

Congratulations to Dirksen Junior High School Assistant Principal Jadon Waller for earning her doctorate degree. Dr. Waller received her Doctor of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University-Chicago. The title of her dissertation was Leveraging the Danielson Framework: Through the Lens of a Black Woman Administrator.

“I applaud Dr. Waller on this great accomplishment,” said Joliet Public Schools District 86 Superintendent Dr. Theresa Rouse. “I know personally it takes a lot of determination and dedication to complete the degree while working full time.”

“This accomplishment will allow me to be an advocate for Dirksen students by supporting teachers, administrators, and future educators in teacher preparation programs,” Dirksen Junior High Assistant Principal Dr. Jadon Waller added.  

Dr. Waller has served as the assistant principal at Dirksen Junior High for the past three years.
