Gompers Junior High School is the home to approximately 850 students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Our school also houses the Joliet Public Schools District 86 junior high bilingual program. In addition, we accommodate students' needs through a variety of special education classes.

Students at Gompers Junior High School are offered challenging experiences in the core curriculum: language arts, math, science, and social studies. Enrichment opportunities in art, Gompers Junior High School is the home to approximately 850 students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. Our school also houses the Joliet Public Schools District 86 junior high bilingual program. In addition, we accommodate students' needs through a variety of special education classes. Students at Gompers Junior High School are offered challenging experiences in the core curriculum: language arts, math, science, and social studies. Enrichment opportunities in art, music, health, PE, character education, band, orchestra, and choir are also available. After-school activities include cross-country, basketball, soccer, wrestling, volleyball, tutoring, and various clubs.
