Welcome to Eisenhower Academy – a Joliet Public Schools District 86 Magnet School and a 2016 National Blue Ribbon School. National Blue Ribbon Schools are on education’s cutting edge, pioneering innovative educational practices from professional learning communities and project-based learning to social and emotional learning and positive behavior systems. Eisenhower was nominated for this prestigious award by the Illinois Department of Education as an Exemplary High Performing School.
In addition to this great honor, we are proud of our school’s philosophy, curriculum and academic performance. Most recently, Eisenhower was named the top #12 elementary school in Illinois by U.S. News & World Report. The success of our school can be attributed to the dedication of our staff and our partnership with our school community. We are committed to academic excellence. We take pride in offering students a variety of programs rooted in Problem-Based Learning with enhanced technology opportunities.
