Fine Arts

The Joliet Public Schools District 86 is committed to providing dynamic visual arts and music instruction, taught by an arts specialist on a regular basis.  Students will explore culture through a broad-based curriculum covering the nature, value, and meaning of the four art disciplines-dance, music, drama, and visual arts.  Students will learn the language of the arts and how to interpret movement, sounds, story, and visual images.  Through problem-solving, communication, technology, teamwork, and the application of the arts to other learning areas, students will enrich the quality of their lives.
