Deborah was elected to the Board of School Inspectors in 2003 and resides on the west side of Joliet with her husband, Dean.  Their son, Alex, attended Eisenhower Academy, Washington Academy, and graduated from Joliet Central High School. Deborah is a graduate of District 86.  She attended Taft Elementary and Hufford Junior High before graduating from Joliet West High School.  Deborah also serves on the Joliet Reads Committee and District 86 Community Council.
