Welcome to Dirksen Junior High School! The home of the Dirksen Senators.

Dirksen Junior High School is a school with a population of 600 hundred students, and we are very excited about this upcoming school year, and anticipate a very successful one. We offer our students challenging experiences in the core curriculum: language arts, math, science, and social studies. However, to continue to meet the needs of our students and provide them with enriching experiences, we have made some changes to our Fine Arts Curriculum. These changes include students receiving more math support through our nine week Math Lab Program, and nine weeks of Character Education Training through a program called Connecting With Kids. Through our after-school program, students can participate in activities such as, cross country, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, tutoring, and our 21st Century program.
